Lifehouse invites onlookers and passersby to join a shared breathing rhythm synchronized with the light of the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse beam pulses in time with the inhale and exhale of the performer’s breath, creating a meditative exchange between light, breath, and environment. By anthropomorphizing the lighthouse, the work highlights breath as a powerful bridge between the individual and the surrounding world.
